Native Collection

Something that you may not know is that we here at Central Coast Glow are Native American. Our family is from the Cherokee tribe. We have always loved learning the stories and culture of our tribe, and we really wanted to incorporate some of the traditional styles, materials, and techniques into our jewelry. So, our new collection inspired by traditional Cherokee jewelry is now available! We’re so excited to announce the drop of our Native Collection, and we hope you love it as much as we do!

As you may already know, we here at Central Coast Glow love working with copper. we adore its color, flexibility and versatility, its healing properties, and its natural patina process. We work with a lot of copper.

But did you know that the Cherokee people traditionally used copper as well? Yes, long before Europeans arrived in this country, Cherokee villages were located near natural copper deposits. Therefore, copper was very important for trade. many traditional jewelry styles were made with cop[per, but it was also used to make arrowheads, cooking utensils, and tools.
